All You Need To Know About WIP
EMERGENCIES OUTSIDE OF OFFICE HOURS
If you experience an emergency, please contact 911.
Every family has 24/7 access to Dr.Sabine outside of office hours for urgent situations. Please call the main practice line and our answering service will send a page to Dr. Sabine to request a call back.
QUESTIONS AFTER HOURS
If you have questions that require a prompt response about your child’s health after-hours, you may e-mail Dr.Sabine or, in urgent situations, call the main office line to request a call back from Dr.Sabine.
HOW DO I SCHEDULE A SICK CHILD VISIT?
We reserve time every day for same-day sick appointments.
If your child is sick, please either call the office when our phone lines open at 9 AM, or e-mail Dr. Sabine. We will find a way to get your child in!
Dr. Sabine has no admitting privileges with any hospital but works closely with Suburban Hospital, Sibley Memorial Hospital, Georgetown Medstar Hospital and Children’s National Medical Center.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN DR. SABINE IS ON VACATION?
We won’t be scheduling routine office visits during Dr. Sabine’s time of absence. Sick visits, please contact PM Pediatrics, a well-respected pediatric urgent care center on Rockville Pike. Feel free to e-mail Dr. Sabine with any other concerns.
WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL MY APPOINTMENT?
We ask that all cancellations be made with more than 24 hour notice. Cancellations within 24 hours will be charged a $75 no show fee.
If you have missed more than 3 consecutive scheduled visits, we will charge the full visit fee.
